If you are like us, then you have probably spent a fairly good chunk of time during this season of “Once Upon a Time” sitting around wondering when we were finally going to learn some more background about Meghan Ory’s Red Riding Hood (or her Storybrooke counterpart in Ruby).
Thankfully, that waiting game seems to be finally over. On Sunday night’s new episode, we will learn a bit more about how Red ended up developing a friendship with Snow White — and also a rather interesting origin story for the Mary Margaret name. While in the fairytale world, though, the two are going to find a rather menacing adversary in the Big Bald Wolf — who, based on our video sneak peek below, seems to be both bigger and badder than ever. (Also in this episode, we are going to find out about who is Red’s significant other in the fairytale universe.)
Meanwhile, in Storybrooke we will see Ruby making a bold move in regards to her job at the diner, and Emma is going to start pressing David hard about whether or not he knows anything concerning Kathryn’s disappearance. (Unfortunately, little does she know that the “phone records” handed over by Sidney are the work of Regina.) The cast has already said that the intention is for the show to resolve the disappearance plotline in the upcoming weeks — even though the ramifications of it could stretch for a good while longer than that.
Is this the episode you have been waiting for?
