In reply to Ellieinto. She is under contract with CBS for the sitcom "2 Broke Girls" so she probably can't appear in a recurring role and even a guest appearance might not be possible. It's the same situation as Cobie Smulders, who was under contract with CBS for "How I Met Your Mother" so her appearance in the pilot episode was just a cameo. The episode in which she appeared later in the season was after the series finale for HIMYM had already aired so she was no longer under contract. I read somewhere that the producers of SHIELD are trying to get Smulders to be a recurring character in season 2.

I’m surprised Kat Dennings hasn’t had a guest spot on the show yet. It’s been established in the movies that her character Darcy knows all about SHIELD and is a friend of Erik Selvig who works for them. Plus Dennings has done TV acting before, I believe.

In the video of Patton Oswalt at Comic-Con, it sounds like Bobbi Morse will be in this season, aka Mockingbird.
