‘The Bachelorette’ alum Ashley Hebert — moving to New Jersey

It's hardly this exotic.

Mrs. Carter: She’s moving to New Jersey – hope she’s ready for some fist pumping.

While rumors surround the current relationship status of our “Bachelor” Ben Flajnik, the woman who said no to his proposal is now on the move.

Speaking to Us Weekly, Ashley Hebert confirmed that she and fiancee J.P. Rosenbaum (who she chose on the show) are in the process of trying to relocate to New Jersey — and there’s a very specific reason behind it:

“We’ve been living in New York and I got into a pediatric residency in Philadelphia, so we decided to move halfway. He’ll commute and I’ll commute. It’s a lesson in relationships.”

The hope here for both Ashley and J.P. is that they will both be able to have the careers that they want, while still having a home to escape to that is comforting and away from where they spend the rest of the day. As nice as this news may be for them, though, there is still no word yet on if Ashley and J.P. are planning a wedding for a particular date this year. If they do end up tying the knot, they will become the first “Bachelor” couple since Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney to do so. (You have to go back even further to find the last couple who married after choosing that person during the show’s finale.)

When it comes to this season, both Ashley and J.P. have said that they want Ben to find someone and be happy — and they are trying to reserve some judgment on Courtney Robertson since they know how reality TV can be manipulative when it comes to editing.
