He wanted(a) Beckett, he knows about the fragile nature of the Caskett relationship,he has more than enough finances to pay for one time use of a new Cadillac Escalade and he has the ingenuity to come up with such a scheme. Even if he is the guilty party it is time to stop setting the time clock back 2 years in the Caskett relationship and move forward by kissing and making up. We do not need a reoccurrence of the so-called backstory (I call it “The Stall”) later in the season because it is incongruent with moving forward. The only reasonable cause would be to identify the responsible party and solidify the Casket relationship.
