LOVE Longmire! After season 2 I got every book and read them all at least twice. I know that they did change a few tings from the book to the show, but I would love to see Katie’s love life follow the book somewhat. I don’t want her to move away from Wyoming, but there are ways to make the rest happen.

As for Branch and Barlow, I am fairly certain that Barlow did load his gun. Branch did look away to the clay pigeon, but I cannot say for sure that one hit the other and which one did or did not. I would not be surprised, however, if they both missed each other and we see them in a Mexican Stand-off wondering which one will shoot the other first.

I have watched from day one. Gotten my family hooked on it and it is the ONLY show that we will all try to gt home in time to watch the newest episode. Now I’m getting my family hooked on the books ;o)

Didn’t see it when it started but have DVR’d most of season 2 & 3. I really like the show, the surroundings. I do hope it makes it to season 4 +.

Love it… Fall guy meets john Wayne and Sherlock Holmes. Walt and Henry modern Lone Ranger and to to with sexy strong Vic, funny ferguson, and disturbed but well intentioned branch.

In reply to jhutch. I had the impression that Branch had shot Ridges, though that would be hard to do at long range with a shotgun. Longmire picked up Branch walking away from the trailer. Branch was heading toward it at first. Then he walking away, as if he knew everything was over there. I was a bit disappointed that the finale did not resolve this.

Love the show. Love the characters. I cannot watch it enough.
I don’t believe Branch is dead or wounded. I’ve watched the show twice but I’m still not sure who tripped the last clay pigeon. Branch was not standing in a vulnerable position as the show ended. I’m not sure Barlow’s gun was even loaded.
I’m also not even certain that Walt stabbed David Ridges. I swear I was paying full attention but I did not see him draw a knife.
I don’t believe Ridges was the one who took Walt’s truck outside the medicine woman’s trailer.
Re: the feather issue. Was Ridges wearing the feather head dress/arrangement that was seen in Jacob’s office earlier?
I think Branch will redeem himself by bringing his father to justice. He will prove that he’s a good guy and that Walt is truly his mentor.
Henry will become the strong arm in place of Hector on the Res.

Hurry up A&E – renew Season 4 and give us more episodes per season.

We don’t watch much tv but we love Longmire. It is creative and original. The quality of the acting is superior.(The only exception being the Longmire love interest last season. A totally false note. She was irritating.) I love the scenery and the American Indian aspects. Please renew the series. It is a gem.

Longmire has become the favorite show of choice for my husband and me. We’ve watched the series from day 1 and can only hope it continues….but it never seems to fail when we find a show we like, low and behold, it’s cancelled after a couple seasons. Hope that won’t hold true for Longmire.
