Scarlett Johansson, Miley Cyrus, Vanessa Hudgens, Blake Lively and numerous other actresses have had their cell phones hacked into and while many thought that the hacker’s reign of terror was over for Hollywood’s elite as it turns out someone is still on a rampage.
When Johansson’s phone got hacked, private photos of the actress got leaked onto the internet and it seems that the same thing has now happened to ‘Mad Men’ star Christina Hendricks. A Rep for Hendricks spoke to E! News about the hacking situation and confirmed that photos were stolen, but when it comes to the some of the more ‘private’ photos the rep says they are fakes. They said; “Christina’s phone was in fact hacked and photos were stolen. The proper authorities have been contacted in hopes of rectifying this situation.”
Unfortunately Hendricks was not the only actress to get hit by the hacker as private photos of Olivia Munn have allegedly surfaced on the internet as well. At this time Munn’s rep has not commented on the situation, but Olivia posted a message on her Twitter account about the hacking along with a photo of a baby and a cat and said; “If you ever hacked my phone, these are the photos you’d find.”
Do you think that cell phone companies need to take responsibility for these hacking situations or do you think that everyone needs to be cautious about the photos we take with our phones? Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
