Machi and Patterson are easily the best writers, but have used up more material than Rod Man and Nikki, who are much better performers than writers. Nikki is milking the woman's vote--and I bet is inwardly thrilled at outlasting Aida, Zenaiba and the other women who had nothing but looks going for them. Rocky is far less funny than Monroe Martin--or Alingnon and Mike Vecchione, who did not make it nearly as far. I think they selected only Rocky joke for the Top 100, whereas Vecchione had 3 or 4 in the top 50.

If the criteria is who would be best for a sitcom, Rod Man wins, followed by Joe.

Did Alignon find a way to manipulate the voting or are his fans more twitter-oriented than Monroe's etc? It seems odd that he could beat so many comics who the audience had seen much more of and who had earned so much more praise from the judges.
