Nathan Fillion, Adam Baldwin to reunite on ABC’s ‘Castle’

They are teaming up for ‘Castle’

Firefly fans hold on tight, because two of our favorites are going to be reunited on the small screen – it’s totally shiny.

It has been 9 years since we have seen Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin sharing the screen together in the television series ‘Firefly’ and fans were completely crushed when Fox decided to cancel the show after only eleven of the fourteen produced episodes in December 2002.

Well be crushed no more because TV Line has revealed that Fillion and Baldwin are reuniting on ABC’s hit show ‘Castle’.  Baldwin will be taking on the role of a “tough and tumble” detective named Ethan Slaughter, which sounds a little like his role of John Casey from ‘Chuck’.

Slaughter will be teaming up with Castle and will be showing him a darker, sketchy side of law enforcement.  This will give Castle a new, but dangerous perspective on future cases and is said to end up putting the author in a precarious position by the end of the season.

Are you excited to see Fillion and Baldwin back together on the small screen?  Do you have high expectations of ‘Castle’ when it comes to these two reuniting like we do?  Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.
