Events are tossed onto the table and no one reacts. No one is changed. Spencer takes speed. Now she doesn’t. Hanna starts drinking. Who cares? In a few eps that will be over and it means nothing. Plotlines in this show are like cheap outfits they put on and then toss back into the closet. Nothing matters. Aria’s parents are chronically gone – no moral judgments? Ella has no responsibility to raise a couple of teens, one of whom sleeps with her creepy stalker teacher?

How is it that there are at least six lesbians in the girls’ small social circle? In a small town.

Nothing about the show stands out. It’s a soap opera and a poorly written one. It’s eye candy. Nothing more. I’m no longer interested in the “plot”. There is none. I watch to remember that being young was more fun than I thought at the time, mainly because everything hurts now that I’m old.
