Justin Bieber has been teasing fans all week that he had a huge announcement that he would be revealing shortly and while he has been known to reveal big news through his Twitter account, this time he decided that he wanted to share the news with his fans on the ‘Ellen DeGeneres Show’.
Bieber sat down with Ellen (episode airs today) and told her that his new single off of his upcoming album ‘Believe’ (coming to stores March 26) would be called ‘Boyfriend’. Ellen asked Justin how he chose the title for his song and Bieber said;
“Basically I’m talking to this girl if I was your boyfriend I would never let you go.”
Bieber also turned 18 today and his manager Scooter Braun and singer Usher decided that they wanted to do something really special for him not only to celebrate his birthday, but also to show him how much the team really appreciates how hard Justin works. Scooter gave Justin a Fisker Karma (a luxury electric sports car) and said;
“You work really really hard. I always yell at you don’t get anything flashy. You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule… So we wanted to make sure your were environmentally friendly, and we wanted to make sure since you love cars that when you’re on the road you are always environmentally friendly, and we decided to get you a car that would make you stand out. I think you know where I’m going and you’re kind of freaking out right now.”
Justin has been receiving thousands of birthday messages on his Twitter account and has not only been retweeting hundreds of them, but he also had a special message for everyone. He said;
“Seeing all the videos and the amazing messages from you guys. THANK U! I LOVE U TOO!”
