Lindsay Lohan has made leaps and bounds when it comes to her probation progress and if all goes well the actress will complete her requirements with the court this month. So with all of her legal matters left in the past, what does Lindsay have planned for her future?
Well one of her most highly anticipated appearances is on this weekend’s episode of ‘Saturday Night Live’ where she will be the host. Fans have been wondering if there are any touchy subjects that Lohan would not be okay with when it comes to the comedy sketches, but Lindsay has said that she is open to anything. With an open doorway to ‘anything goes’, Lohan’s ‘SNL’ appearance might actually be what thrusts her back into the spotlight in a big way.
During a recent appearance on the ‘Today Show’, Lohan opened up to Matt Lauer about what fans can expect with her ‘SNL’ appearance, what her future holds and having a ‘comeback’ at only 25 years old. She said;
“I regret the choices that I’ve made, but I’m thankful for where I am today because of them, because I don’t need to see any more negative stuff, I don’t need to put myself in those places anymore.”
When it comes to directors and producers putting their trust into Lindsay again for future movie roles, Lohan admitted that it will take time to build up that trust again. She said;
“I think that takes time and I think that it’s actions, because people can say things all they want, but I still need to go through the process of proving myself, like with SNL being on time, keeping my stuff together. I’m really lucky, because Lorne Michaels is really, he’s really been supportive of me, so I went and emailed him and was harassing him to meet with me to let me do the show and he believes in me.”
