I was very surprised and saddened to see Gilles Marini killed off in the series. He was just beginning to develop into a strong character and become a real father to both of the girls. It is a shame the producers felt it necessary to cut him from the cast, but they kept D W Moffatt alive after his heart attack. Gilles is a lovely young man, and he is delightful to watch with his charm, beauty and wonderful warmth. I hope they can bring him back in ghost form or flashbacks, but I would like to see him with his own show. The last episode was heartbreaking to watch, especially if you have lived and suffered through a personal loss, and I cried, from the way the show was written and for the painful memories it brought to mind. Bonne chance, Gilles and Adieu et reposez en paix, Angelo.

I guess I am the first one to make a comment here. I was very shocked after the character played by Giles Marni would really start to really become more a part of the cast. When his character died in tonight’s episode. I cried. I lost my own mother this time last year so I guess that really it hard. Still. Mr. Marni will be missed on Switched At Birth. I wish the writers would not have taken him off the show.
