Maroon 5 front man Adam Levine has never had any trouble attracting the ladies, just take a look at his gorgeous Victoria’s Secret model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsyna, but once he became a huge rock star, the women were lining up to get a chance at love with Levine.
In a recent interview with the Huffington Post, Adam revealed that regardless of his ‘nerdy’ musician persona in high school, he’s never had a problem attracting women. He said;
“I loved hanging out with girls … It was never an issue, how about that? And, of course, it’s been magnified times 1,000 with this whole (fame) thing that’s happened, so it’s kind of crazy. I did OK. I did all right.”
As for Adam’s career, Maroon 5 has been selling out stadiums worldwide and has continuously topped the billboard charts with their hit singles, but when the opportunity arose for Levine to join the judging panel for NBC’s smash series ‘The Voice’ not everyone thought it was a smart move for Adam. He said;
“A musician’s life is constantly filled with people saying, `Why are you doing this?’ I’m a fan of people saying that because it must mean I’m doing something right. I’ve never been a fan of the cookie-cutter way of life. I liked that this was spiking something new into what I do.”
Under Adam’s mentoring, Javier Colon won the first season of ‘The Voice’, but Levine revealed that he really doesn’t have much of a strategy when it comes to beating out the three other mentors (Christina Aguilera, Cee Lo Green and Blake Shelton) and focuses on picking the right songs for his singers. Adam explains;
“I don’t really strategize as much as I want the right people to sing the right songs the right way and to have the right moment to hopefully increase their chances of moving forward because that’s my job on the show. I’m there to help people be fully realized and have people see the best versions of who they are.”
