Mrs. Carter: Big news is coming out now from the “NCIS: Los Angeles” offseason.
While production will be starting up on the hit CBS show’s sixth season soon, Daniela Ruah took advantage of some of her time off this summer to celebrate another major event in her life: Marrying her longtime fiance David Paul Olsen. (David is the brother of Eric Christian Olsen, who works as his stunt double on the show.) This news was confirmed in a series of posts on Twitter by Ruah herself, where she explained just how happy she was to be celebrating her big day:
“Just lived the best week of my life; I married my best friend. Our son was with us. We were surrounded by our favourite people in he whole world. Unforgettable. Photos (from me) to come… thank you for all the lovely tweets.”
This news definitely caps a very eventful past 12 months for Ruah, who spent most of this past “NCIS: Los Angeles” season working while pregnant. Thanks to a unique arrangement, she was able to do the majority of her work in bunches before having to go on maternity leave, and she was hardly gone from the show at all thanks to the way in which it was handled.
There are some changes ahead now for Ruah and the cast moving forward, as the series is moving away from the flagship “NCIS” for the first time to Monday nights at 10:00 p.m. Eastern. We’ll have a little more news on that when we get closer to the air date or at least production, but for now, congratulations are in order to the happy couple!
