Alexis should have gone to Yale instead. That way she is “close enough” but far enough not to be able to be in almost every episode. Or she should go for a year abroad…. and stay abroad.
OR
The writers should also try to bring back Alexis/Lanie scenes in the morgue.
(prayer circle that the option one becomes more likely)

alexis is the least interesting character on the show and sounds neurotic half the time.

Since I view season 7 as the finale, and since everyone was in such a rush to end the Bracken story-line, we’re really left with not too much to fill out 23/24 episodes. 3XK will most likely be the main thrust and having Alexis threatened by him is certainly one way to go. Had Marlowe allowed the wedding to go ahead, a time leap to post honeymoon and “little Castle babies” story-line would have been possibility. Alexis’ relationship with a half-sibling could have been an interesting, but most likely is dead in the water now. Any other story with Alexis as a main character strikes me as pretty contrived and won’t add anything to the end story.

How about we let ABC decide. Considering they have somehow managed to drag what was once a descent and interesting plot into a 7th season, I’m sure they will find some implausible but Castlesque way of fitting her into this unending story-line.

The show is about Caskett, and giving Alexis a bigger role wouldn’t be alright. A better love interest or her being a cop type thing wouldn’t suit her, that’s something most would only want from Caskett. Molly is great, but I don’t think that increasing the role of the character is a good thing, as it’s not really easy to imagine her with Caskett, solving cases, or anything. That’s just not gonna work.

alexis should have an adventurous role which is challenging as being a daughter of castle(hero of the series)….daughter should also should have some heroic nature to make it more interesting and to bring in lots of twists

I agree Alexis should be brought in more, number 4 above could possibly give scope for an interesting storyline to see the inter action between Stana and Molly could I think provide a good platform.
