‘Fargo’ finale podcast: Talking ‘Morton’s Fork,’ possible season 2 with Jason Prager

Fargo -Tonight on FX, “Fargo” came to a conclusion that we can be sad about … mostly because we’re going to have to wait and see if there will be television anywhere near as good the rest of the year.

So with a great finale hopefully comes a great podcast, which is what we are here to deliver here in our latest discussion pertaining to the show. Obviously, there are some spoilers ahead, but you likely figured that given the subject matter.

Below, Matt Carter and Jason Prager discuss some of the following big topics when it comes to the episode, and the future.

  1. What happened with the episode’s big deaths, especially that of Lorne Malvo at the hands of Gus.
  2. Whether or not we were satisfied with an episode that was relatively open-and-shut ending for the series rather than something that caused you to ponder more the future.
  3. Some of the general themes and concepts discussed, whether it be full-circle moments to the nature of the game show at the end.
  4. Whether or not there will be a season 2, and if there should be.
  5. What sort of actors we would like to see if the show does come back, including Oscar-nominees and comedians who deserve to be seen in a new light.

This is just one of many podcasts that we have on CarterMatt right now, and you can check out the rest either on iTunes or our official page. We have some on “True Detective,” “Hannibal,” and “The Bachelorette” that we fully recommend.
