‘Celebrity Apprentice’s’ Aubrey O’Day sued over copyright issues

She’s getting sued

Aubrey O’Day may be kicking butt and taking names on this season of ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’, but when it comes to her reality show ‘All About Aubrey’ the singer has found herself in deeper trouble than facing a firing from Donald Trump in the boardroom.

During the season finale of her reality show All About Aubrey’, fans watch her as she sang on top of a track produced by a friend of hers named Adonis Shropshire, but the show allegedly didn’t have the right to use the track and the company is now suing O’Day, Shropshire and the Oxygen network for using the music without permission.

According to TMZ the lawsuit filed against the group claims that Adonis created the track used on the show for a different artist that is not O’Day and didn’t have the rights to let Aubrey use the music on her show.  The lawsuit is looking for unspecified damages as well as an order that would prevent O’Day from recording or performing the song again.

You can catch Aubrey on ‘The Celebrity Apprentice’ which airs on Sundays at 9 p.m. on NBC.
