In reply to silver. When was the last time we had a Sam POV episode? It's been years, literally. Look at it this way: until Dean stops casting Sam as the Precious Object in his life, and starts letting Sam act on his own and respect Sam's choices, we will never get an opportunity for the show to be All About Dean, because the show is nearly always told from Dean's POV. We will have a chance in S10, though, I hope!

In reply to Red. Hey, I'm more than happy for Sam to take on the caretaker role for once, and Dean be the one that has the mytharc. I'm more than happy for Sam's POV, I only wish that, unlike the past times Sam's POV was shown, it isn't all about himself, but maybe about Dean this time.

In reply to Lisa Lujan. Please no. I don't want Dean to wear that thing. It's like a slave collar and it wasn't even given because Sam loved Dean, but because Sam was angry at John. The amulet is Sam's, let Sam keep it. Dean doesn't need it.

In reply to silver. And now maybe, finally, we'll get some Sam POV! Sam has always been the character manipulated by circumstances, and certainly during Carver's stint, he's almost more of a plot device than a character. I won't mind one bit if the tables are turned this time. Dean can become the plot device, and Sam can be the one extricating his brother from repeated dangers and act as the viewer's 'narrator', as it were. Refreshing change really!

Bring back the Amulet – and I think this row as a demon will Bea different row. But I think Sam is the only one that can save dean from this demon with in him. Love you Dean/ Jensen

Dean becoming a demon was such an intriguing twist. I just hope the story is developed to its full potential. I really doubt Dean will stay a demon for very long but there should be ramifications for Dean, both personal and mytharc related, that last the whole season. I’m looking forward to watching it all unfold!

Finally, after 5 years, Dean gets a story again. I can only praise Jensen for all the work he’s done and for still keeping his character interesting when he wasn’t given much to do.
The DemonDean story took me by surprise and I really hope that this time Carver doesn’t take it away from Dean and plays it out. I was so excited over the purgatory story, but sadly, that was done before it even started.
Demon!Dean is promising to be just as good and even more exciting than the purgatory story. I agree, please Carver, don’t screw Jensen, Dean and the Dean fans out of this story. We’ve been screwed out of so many Dean stories throughout the series, it would be great if one actually stuck and was played all the way through like all the Sam stories have been.

Jensen and Dean deserves a great storyline/mytharc, i really hope the Writes don’t screw things up for him, Jensen is the best actor of CW, he have talented and understand Dean, with the right writing, this Demon!Dean story can be the best thing on show ever (seriously, they go there, it will be silly don’t enjoy the walk haha I really hope they go deep in this Demon!Dean storyline, really deep and dark, it will be awesome to see how big things can be).

Please Carver, don’t ruin things, not now.

Jensen and Jared can do whatever they are asked to. It comes down to the writers and whether or not they handle this story arc right. Either it’ll be amazing, or it’ll crash and burn. I hope for one over the other.

I will be following this storyline with tremendous interest this fall. I’m a long-time fan, and have watched every episode of the show, and while the writers sometimes let me down, Jensen doesn’t. He really does know Dean, and has done an amazing job portraying that character under so many difference circumstances for the last nine years. He and Jared have both said that they are protective of Dean and Sam, and not afraid to push back when the writing is out-of-character. I was really shocked by the season finale, and I think this can be an exciting new challenge for Jensen as an actor. As for Dean – this is an anathema to everything he is, and I think it opens up some new directions for the story. I really hope the writers pay it off.
