Loved that soft shoe! That was a tribute to his signature celebrity…& he finally displayed his trademark: he ended his visit with that famous gap in his grin!

Matt WEINER’s parents must have given him some input asto how COOPER would merge his debut in movies & on Broadway with his finale on Madison Ave.

Clever…for those who were there.

I feel like they’ve worn out the agency, new agency, merge, takeover, subsidiary angle. It seems like they use that as a prop whenever they’re backed into a corner. I love the dialogue of the show and the depth of the characters but it really bugged me a little bit that they decided to go the same old route. On the bright side, it looks like Harry Crane got screwed out of a big chunk of cash.

As a 56 year old man who grew up with “How to Succeed in Business without really Trying” The song and dance number showed off the utterly charming gleam in Robert Morse eyes, totally evoking his irascible J Pierpont Finch character. And it was a a keystone moment in what is now the morality tale of “Mad Men”,. the best things in life are free, Don, mentoring Peggy, the loyalty of Cooper, the friendship of Sterling and Don, the sense of the meaning of work that Don has learned, great great ending !!!!

Hey, if you’d thought about the episode instead of posting 8 minutes after it finished, you might have noticed that musical number was far from random. Listen to the words of the song. It makes me think you don’t understand the show at all.
