Red has always said he wouldn't lie to Liz. He said in the final that her father was definitely dead. To me that means that Red was at the fire where her dad died and that red was the person who took her to Sam. What Reds relationship to them all is I am looking forward to learning about. Is the fire etc why Red is not happy with his former employer?

I know alot of people don't want Red to be Liz's dad because its too "obvious", but I hope he is. For me, it would be the most emotionally satisfying answer. I will be disappointed if they come up with some lame explanation for why Red cares for her so much (ex. He's her uncle, her dad was his bff, Red's using her to get revenge on an enemy, etc). None of that works for me.

Red was in the fire, we know that much. That doesn't make him her father. It just means he was there. I don't understand why people take that as proof. Honestly if he IS her father, that would be the lamest revelation in the history of obvious stories. I really, really hope he isn't.
