OKAY people lets not get ridiculous! To those that thought Sisandra should have stayed in- yes she has an impressive voice, there is no doubt. But that is not the whole point. We each have opinions- so to sort all the opinions among the nation, there is a public vote to show what kind of ‘interest’ there is to the ‘type’ of music style they choose to sing. As she went along- though her voice was impressive- she did not excite people to vote or to want to buy her songs or even the music she may potentially sing after the show. She is great at standard Motown 40-45 yr old songs, but who is going to buy that anymore? Not many as shown by the iTunes ranking…we’ve already had an Aretha Franklin, and a Tina Turner. Also, her voice was waning on the last song, she was weaker, sounded rougher than usual-maybe too much practice? The other top singers seemed stronger, especially Christina Grimmie, who is(if you look up her vids since 15yrs old) is a musical genius-piano and composing-and a voice that is so versatile. Josh’s song actually had a huge faltering near the end that no one talks about. But he is good. This actually is by far the most interesting Voice so far. Definitely the favorite of so many people this year. Ranked #1 on NBC.

Sissaundra Lewis is a very good singer, but this isn’t the show for her.

Although Sasaundra’s departure was ridiculous, it was no surprise. I mean they got rid of Judith Hill too, remember? I think the public just figures they are so good that they have it made. And that may be true. But it just goes to show America wants “really good young singers” rather than great seasoned singers. We are, after all, mediocre as a nation when it comes to artistry….

At least for this season, tonight was my last night watching the voice.
Dug the music for the art of it…never have been able to deal with the
politics. Hopefully next season will be better…hate to see the same
fate facing it A I has in store
