When Sugar Motta (Vanessa Lengies) first came onto the scene earlier this season as the tone deaf wanna be Glee club singer, we thought there was a lot of great potential for this character, but for some reason Ryan Murphy hasn’t really focused on her very much, so when heard that she was finally going to be in the spotlight for the big Valentine’s Day episode, we couldn’t be happier.
With almost the entire ‘Glee‘ cast in a relationship this season, there’s bound to be love in the air at McKinley High, but what about the few single cast members? Will they find love or will they be sitting at home eating chocolate bon bons by themselves watching romantic comedies and crying themselves to sleep?
Sugar may finally be getting her own leading man on Tuesday’s episode of ‘Glee‘ as Artie (Kevin McHale) and Rory (Damian McGinty) battle it out over the opportunity to take her to the big Valentine’s Day bash, paid by her father of course. While Artie has certainly had his fair share of romances on the show, Rory hasn’t made much of a love connection with anyone, although he did do his best to hook up with Brittany which of course ended up being nothing since her heart belongs to Santana.
Artie will perform the song ‘Let Me Love You’ to try and win Sugar’s affections, but we know that Rory will also have a number up his sleeve and will hopefully find a way to win her heart.
The Valentine’s Day special of ‘Glee’ will air on Tuesday, February 14th at 8 p.m. on Fox.
Are you rooting for Sugar and Rory to make a love connection or do you hope she will end up dating Artie? Check out the sneak peek and let us know what you think.
