TV Twitter Talk: Adele, Katy Perry and Rihanna talk Grammy Awards

Will she win it all tonight?

One of televisions biggest awards shows is airing tonight and Twitter is all a buzz with excitement as fans rally behind their favorite artists in hopes of them winning an award at the 54th Annual Grammy Awards.

With musicians like Adele, Coldplay, Rihanna, Katy Perry, Burno Mars and Bon Iver up for multiple awards, it’s tough to predict who is actually going to walk away with the trophy this year.

When Esperanza Spalding beat out Justin Bieber last year for ‘Best New Artist’ the Grammy’s proved that this is really anyone’s game.  After Spalding won the Grammy her Wikipedia page was attacked by angry Bieber fans who added notes like “She now has the 2011 Grammy for being the Best new Artist! Even though no one has ever heard of her! Yay!”  Already this morning ‘Bieber For Grammy’ is trending and hopefully he will win the ‘Best Song Written for Visual Media’ Grammy – otherwise it might be a sad day to see the Winnie the Pooh Wikipedia page get put on blast by upset Bieber fans.

We caught up with some of the artists that are nominated for awards tonight on their Twitter accounts to see how they are preparing for the big night.  Here are a few highlights;

Coldplay(Best Pop Duo/Group Performance):

“Logistical problem of the day: handing out 27,000 wristbands at the Grammys tomorrow.”

“Chris and rihanna just rehearsed princess. Absolutely beautiful.”

Katy Perry (Record of the year)

“Just finished rehearsals for Grammy’s… I’m. so. excited. #somethingscooking”

Adele (record of the year, album of the year):

“Ima be, Ima be singing at the Grammys. It’s been so long I started to forget I was a singer! I can’t wait, speak soon xx”

Rihanna (Album of The Year, Best Pop Vocal Album)”

“Feels so strange being at the Grammy rehearsal right now!!”

Pauly D (Best Blowout – not really but he should be):

“Soo Dope I Got Nominated @ The Grammy’s For Best BlowOut !!!! #thatswhatsup”

The 54th Annual Grammy Awards will be airing tonight at 8 p.m. on CBS.  Will you be tuning in?
