Viewers and critics have raked Nicole Scherzinger over the coals for her decisions while on the ‘X Factor’ judging panel and when it was announced that she would not be returning for season two, it was not really much of a surprise to anyone.
“I had a wonderful experience on the show. I loved being a part of my ‘X Factor’ family. Nothing could obviously prepare me for everything I had to go through, all the emotions and stuff, but I have no regrets. I’ve always believed in never looking back and just moving forward and I’ve got an amazing year to look forward to.”
Viewers knew early on that Nicole was not the best fit for the show, but when Nicole was asked why she thinks she was let go from the ‘X Factor’ she was fairly vague in her response. She said;
“What happened? Well, all I know is that I gave 110 percent to that show. I know everybody’s talking about it, they’re saying good, bad, they love me or hate me, but the one thing you can’t say is that I didn’t give it my all.”
Now that Nicole has left the ‘X Factor’ behind her, the singer has some new fun projects coming her way. Besides becoming the new Herbal Essences Global Brand Ambassador, she is also getting ready to kick off her European tour. She said;
“I’m kicking off with my European headlining tour, I’m leaving in a few days for that. [I was] actually doing choreography moves right before we were filming [this interview].”
Scherzinger is hoping to return to musical theater again, which is where she got her start with the Pussycat Dolls, and wants to work in film. She is also finishing up her new album ‘Killer Love’ which will be coming out in the US later this year.
