I’m certain that Cote has more sense than to be up in arms about it. If I was her I’d be more insulted that so many fans thought I was such a spoiled brat that his comments would stop me from returning if I wanted to. I have read his comments verbatim and in précis in several places, and I haven’t seen anything that an actual grown up (which Cote is, not sure about some of her fans) would use as a reason to not return. How utterly ridiculous.

Ugh, the fact that you use “she’s not a hottie to look at” as an actual reason not to like Bishop says more about you than anything or anyone else.

I disagree, I always watched for the plots and the characters since day 1. They have a lot of meaning in many of their episodes. What the heck has turning 50 got to do with anything. You watch a show because you like it not because of how old you are. I watch shows for younger people because I like the actors and their plots as well as shows that are more for ‘older’ people.

Pauley did know the girl, that’s why she was the only one allowed to follow her. The girl didn’t like what she said about Cote’s departure so she did the dirty on her and tweeted a couple of things that were out of context with missing tweets making it look a lot worse than what was actually said. That girl should not have betrayed P.P. just because she wasn’t saying what she wanted to hear.

No one bad mouthed Cote on twitter except some young girl who got into a fight with P.P. and she got all spiteful for the wrong reasons. Tensions had been high for many months with stupid idiots doing and saying dispicable things to the staff and crew. Threatening mail, sending boxes of stupid stuff to CBS. Harrassment at every turn. People tend to get hot under the collar after putting up with childish crap for months on end. I don’t know why some fans thought it would help because it hasn’t. They have only given themselves a bad name and made themselves look like jerks. Do you really think Cote was happy about every thing these people did? Likely it has made her feel she can’t come back because of all the trouble they caused. How would you feel and what words could you say to compensate to someone you have to work closely with, in an apology for fans telling Michael Weatherlys wife that they hope his unborn baby dies because Cote was no longer there? People can be rich with other things in life beside money you know. Cote had a great home life, childhood, great looks, health, singing voice, great boyfriend relationships etc. Thats better than money. Money doesn’t necessarily make you happy if you have a rotten life to go with it. And Cote did not have the lowest pay of the bunch.

What a ridiculous posting. They are not going to cut David McCallum just to bring back Cote. And Cote is not the rating star of this show. They ALL are. Why don’t you people stop cry babying over an actress who chose to move on, and at the last moment, throwing everyone and everything into a spin. She was selfish and inconsiderate. Obviously had no thoughts about how her fans would feel, so why are you all defending her so much. If you don’t want to watch anymore than go elsewhere no one is stopping you.

What David said has got nothing what so ever to do whether Cote comes back or not. If CBS want her and the cast want to work with her again, which I am quite sure they will, it will happen. People are still allowed to give their opinion about things they like or don’t like. Cote left of her own free will. Your comment saying that they are using the death of Ralph Waite to boost finale numbers is disgracefull. I believe Bones have already done their episode for Ralphs passing. The ratings may have dropped a little but it all pans out much the same in the long run. And if they ever drop to second place so what? Other top shows have dropped a lot lower than that in a much shorter airing time. No show should be expected to stay number 1 forever especially after 11 years. I’m an ‘older’ person and I have watched NCIS since the beginning and I am still watching. What difference does it make how old your are to watch a show. Shows always change with actors and characters, its part of the show business.
