Kris Humphries calls his marriage to Kim Kardashian ‘real’

The marriage was real

Mrs Carter: If you thought their marriage was a sham you might want to think again.

With all the hoopla surrounding the marriage of ‘Keeping Up With The Kardashians‘ star Kim Kardashian and NBA player Kris Humphries, fans expected it to go the distance and when it ended after only 72 days, fans were left feeling bitter and cheated.

As it turns out there is someone else that is also feeling raw about the experience and that is Kim’s ex-husband, Kris Humphries.  As soon as the divorce was announced, tabloids ran with the idea that the marriage was a sham and that it was completely orchestrated solely for business purposes.

While Kim has said over and over that the marriage was not faked for money or fame, the one person that hasn’t really been talking to anyone is Kris – until now. In a recent interview with Access Hollywood, Humphries has slammed the reports saying that they marriage was a fake and has said “to me it was real.”  Kris explains;

“I would never go through something or do something that wasn’t real or I didn’t believe in, so I can really only speak for myself in terms of that.”

Humphries went on to say that the idea of marrying as a business transaction is ridiculous and revealed that money doesn’t rule his life.  He said;

“When I was kid growing up, it was always like, ‘Man, one day I want to have this or that,’ and you work so hard and that’s your goal, but like, when you get all those things that you wanted, those things don’t make you happy. Money only has so much — it doesn’t rule my life so I would never do anything strictly for money.”

So now that the marriage is over is Kris dating anyone?  He said;

“I’m not dating anyone right now.  What do they say? ‘My girlfriend is Spalding.’”

Kim was recently linked to New York Jets quarterback Mark Sanchez, but she quickly put an end to those rumors saying that it’s not true.  At this point it seems that both Kim and Kris are content to stay single, which is probably a good decision for everyone involved.
