Booth’s promotion may somehow be tied into the series finale. That’s my opinion. I know it has been renewed for another season. (Before anyone panics or jumps down my throat.) My take is that it is better to go out on top than to stay too long at the party. Ten years would be a wonderful run. If they go on longer than that, it would be fabulous if everyone is on board and writing and acting stay fresh. If people want to go onto greener pastures after next season, then I would be fine with that as well. Whatever happens, I wish everyone the best
