Definitely miss MK. And if she is helping kids who feel no future or who have been bullied, etc. Good on her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least someone is doing something good in the world, beyond their own egoic needs.

I really hated to see her go. I thought there was such a sweetness in her and I almost feel that she should have allowed herself to show that vulnerability in her singing and in her presentation. She always seemed so afraid and that is what came through in her singing. I wish her all the best and I expect to hear more from her.

mk was one of my favorites and I really respect her decision to “come out” for the show. With the limited voting this year fans are going to vote for their faves so while her orientation may have put some off I don’t believe anyone would waste votes just to oust her. I love her voice, just a beautiful tone, only sorry the slew of mentors couldn’t have helped her feel more at ease on stage. Her only downfall.

I will definitely miss MK. I liked her performances very much and was sad when she was told to go home. She has a beautiful voice. I guessed that she was gay but didn’t care at all about that. She should still be there. That she went home instead of Dexter was ridiculous.

I think MK missed Adam’s point. At that point in Adam’s life he wanted to be judged on his singing and performance and not whether America accepted or did not accept him being Gay! He never hid it, but did not proclaim in order for AI to have a background story. If he had made it one of the factors in 2008, knowing what happened when pictures of him kissing a guy went viral on the web during AI, and Preachers came out of the woodwork, the homophobes would have come out in droves to stop him moving forward! The ?mark was enough to keep him from winning. Adam did it his way and he officially came out in Rolling Stones right afterwards. He was so fierce doing it right as he was starting his music career.

Sweet girl and wish her the best….but……no……..won’t miss her on Idol…in fact, won’t miss ANYBODY on Idol. It is UNDOUBTEDLY the WORST year EVER. These contestants sound like they should be in a high school talent show at best. Blame that on the judges. #FAIL
