Will you be tuning in?

HBO is getting ready to release the highly anticipated made for TV film ‘Game Change’ starring Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin and they have finally released a full length trailer for the movie.

‘Game Change’ focuses on John McCain’s 2008 presidential campaign against Barack Obama and how McCain and his advisor come to the decision to bring in the Governor of Alaska, Sarah Palin, as his Vice Presidential running mate. After bringing Palin on as the VP candidate, McCain’s campaign takes off, but as Palin begins to feel the pressures of being told what to say and how to say it we see the toll it takes on her.  When Sarah realizes that she is really the driving force behind the entire campaign she decides that she no longer wants to be McCain’s “puppet” and is going to say what she wants when she wants and that’s when things begin to take a turn for the worse.

While the film stars some influential actors like Ed Harris as John McCain and Woody Harrelson as his advisor Steve Schmidt, the real star of the film is Julianne Moore as Sarah Palin.  Many have been comparing Moore’s portrayal of Palin to Tina Fey’s on ‘Saturday Night Live’, but after watching the trailer for ‘Game Change’ viewers quickly realize that there is no comparison and that Moore is in a league above the rest.

‘Game Change’ is based on a bestselling book by the same name and will be airing on HBO on Saturday March 10.  Check out the trailer and let us know if you plan to tune in.
