‘2 Broke Girls’ stars Kat Dennings, Beth Behrs slam reports of Lindsay Lohan drama
On Monday night, “2 Broke Girls” continues its run of new episodes on CBS; however, what we are here to talk about today is the “he said, she said” battle when it comes to whether or not Lindsay Lohan was actually a great guest star when she stopped by the series for a gig that will air on the network in April.
The headlines about Lindsay’s performance start up when a blogger, who was apparently at a taping of the show featuring the troubled former child star, wrote a pretty scathing review of how she did on the show.
”[We, the audience members] are very familiar with every single one of Lindsay Lohan’s lines and can repeat them all verbatim to you because we heard them so many times last night. There is not a member of the audience who couldn’t do a better job than Lindsay Lohan did last night.”
There were a lot of other assorted details in there, but this was clearly written by someone who wanted to make a point about her alleged performance on the show.
Who are two people who do not agreement with this assessment at all right now? Think along the lines of stars Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs. The two each went to their Twitter accounts after this blog started to catch attention, and denied just about everything that was said in it.
Dennings – “This article is complete [bleep]. Lindsay was prepared, sweet to everyone, & professional. Not nice to spread lies.”
Behrs – “This article isn’t true. I second @OfficialKat . @lindsaylohan was kind to everyone, professional and knew her [another bleep].”
Why are we so inclined to believe the leads? It’s basically because they would have next to nothing to gain out of supporting Lindsay, since there would be plenty out there who would watch this episode just for the possible trainwreck alone.
