I guess they have to tie them some how. But you’re right about how everyone is either related or knows each other some how. earlier in the season when they showed rumple and cora’s relationship, and rumple asked for his own child, i was like ” No f-ing way Regina is Rumple’s daughter!” thank goodness they didn’t go there. OMG what if the witch is gold’s kid! O.o
I’m starting to think rumple has a mulitple personality problem that’s backfiring. First there’s his coward self who broke his own foot, the impish-giggly-high pitched voice guy, and mr.gold. now I don’t’ know what he is. I also agree that they’ll need to strengthen the hate between the witch and the queen, cuz like Regina said, they’re mom kinda sucked.
