Catherine Lowe had a very low profile until the end. The plot simply showed up but there was very little plot development between the couple. I still can not figure that out: is not that privacy? Yes, some people are protected on the show and some people are not protected. It is the editing that makes this show one way or the other. Yes, it is mostly planned. Therefore, I agree with Juan, there is no real love when on the show: my opinion from the facts shown or implied. Seeing both two different endings really makes one wonder what the reality check is for love on TV. Juan also stated he will now be dating her one to one in his own words, of course…

It seems like Juan Pablo did the best he was comfortable with. It was the media and the public that wanted him to be the Bachelor, though he was reluctant, eventually must have be persuaded by the show’s producer to take on the role. Juan Pablo appears to be honest and sincere, but wanted to maintain some degree of privacy. That is his choice and though the show’s outcome may be different than the past, that was his presentation and provided the audience with a different finale. Why should the ladies not chosen be expressing their disappointment. Everyone lady can not be chosen as he only can select one. For Andi to express her disappointment would have been no difference that AshLee Frazier who was frown on for her negativity when she was not chosen. All the runner ups will be disappointed except for one. His communications do not have to be public as long as both parties have their own understanding.

The common theme with Juan Pablo is that he did not give the girls (Nikki included) the reassurance that they were looking for. His answers seemed vague and non committal. It seems that he shut the girls out and shutdown when questioned. This did not make him look authentic. My husband could see the look of disappointment on Nikki’s face.

I feel for Nikki. Shame on people. Even felt bad for Juan Pablo who had no choice but to be on the defense during his interviews with his luke warm reception. Chris Harrison acted like an antagonist, and was irritating in his demands for the love word. I think Juan was more serious than most in his quest for love by being so reluctant to propose, and say words others take to lightly. When he means it he will say it that is all. Until then it wouldn’t be genuine. Good on them for sticking to their guns. Nikki is the only one in the bunch with any sort of rational thoughts or common sense. And handled herself with well spoken words and strength.
