injured in some way. Obviously, this is Kerry Washington’s show and
they are not going to kill her character off. But if Olivia is
seriously hurt, then maybe Fitz will snap out of it long enough to stop
screaming at her and telling her to “shut up.” Maybe he’ll realize how
close he came to losing her and finally step it up and insist on the
divorce.

I know Shonda thinks a presidential divorce is way too
unrealistic and probably will not write it until the end of the series
(if at all!), but seriously, is it any more unrealistic than having the
President murder a Supreme Court Justice? More unrealistic than the
Vice President stabbing her husband to death and then having Cyrus’s
team clean it all up with no problems? Cyrus is a schemer. If
anything, he would have taken pictures of Sally or the dead body or
recorded her saying she had killed him. We all know that Cyrus is not
above breaking the law to get what he wants, and I can’t believe that he
would just have them clean up the crime scene without at least keeping
some piece of evidence to blackmail Sally and make her stay in line.
