‘One Direction’ mania has hit America as the UK superstars touched down on US soil to start their very first international tour.
The members of ‘One Direction’ were met at LAX by hordes of screaming fans, and although the boys wanted to spend some time signing autographs and chatting with fans, band member Harry Styles said that they couldn’t stop to chat because of US Marshall’s orders. He wrote;
“Sorry that we couldn’t stop at LAX guys…the US Marshall’s said it wasn’t safe. We all wanted to come see you .x”
The British Boy band is in America in hopes to make their mark internationally. ‘One Direction’ will be opening for Big Time Rush and they have landed a small cameo in the Nickelodeon show ‘iCarly’ where they will be playing themselves. The boys will be headed to the Miranda Cosgrove show today where they will perform the song ‘What Makes You Beautiful.’ Here is a synopsis of the ‘One Direction’ episode;
“Carly returns home sick after a trip and discovers that One Direction has accepted an invitation to perform on their web show. Not long after arriving, bandmate Harry becomes sick and we see Carly doting over him. Realizing Harry is playing sick for the attention, they hatch a plan to get him back in the group by telling him Gibby has become their newest bandmember. Meanwhile, Spencer becomes a personal trainer and gives a bratty girl a makeover.”
After months of rumors surrounding Styles and Xtra Factor host Caroline Flack having a relationship, Styles has finally confirmed that they did have a relationship, but that they are no longer a couple. He posted a message on his Twitter account, saying;
“Please know I didn’t ‘dump’ caroline. This was a mutual decision. She is one of the kindest, sweetest people I know. Please respect that.”
Harry and Caroline caused a lot controversy with their romance as Harry was under the age of 18 when they started dating and they had a 15 year age gap between them. When news first broke of Harry and Caroline dating, One Direction fans began sending Flack threatening messages through Twitter, causing the couple to go underground with their relationship.
