Madonna, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. may seem like an unusual musical match up, but here we are with their new single ‘Give Me All Your Luving’ getting ready for it’s big release on Madonna’s upcoming album.
The music video for Madonna’s single will debut on Thursday night’s episode of ‘American Idol’ during the St. Louis auditions. With ratings at an all time low it’s possible that producer, Nigel Lythgoe is banking on Madonna’s star power to bring in the viewers. Here is an excerpt from the press release;
“In an American Idol exclusive, Madonna will world preview the video for her new single “Give Me All Your Luvin,” featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A., during IDOL Thursday, Feb. 2 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.”
“Madonna will release “Give Me All Your Luvin’’ featuring Nicki Minaj and M.I.A. on Feb. 3. The song was written by Madonna, Martin Solveig, Nicki Minaj and M.I.A, and is the first single off of Madonna’s upcoming studio album “MDNA,” her 12th studio album. “MDNA” follows up 2008’s “Hard Candy,” which debuted at No. 1 in 37 countries.”
Along with Madonna’s music video premiere on Idol, the Material Girl will also be playing the Super Bowl Half Time show for the first time ever. Minaj announced on her Twitter account that she will be joining Madonna on stage at the Super Bowl and that she has been deep in rehearsals for their performance. She wrote; “Super Bowl rehearsals w/the Queen.”
This week is a big one for Madonna – not only does she have the premiere of her music video on Idol, and the Super Bowl Half Time Show, but her new film W.E. will be released in theaters everywhere.
