Rosie O’Donnell, Michelle Rounds planning for a baby

She's ready to become a mom again

Mrs Carter: They are ready to  expand their family.

Rosie O’Donnell and her fiancée Michelle Rounds may have only been engaged for like a minute, but the lovebirds are ready to start expanding their family.

On Friday’s episode of Rosie’s talk show, she revealed to Dr. Mehmet Oz that she and Rounds have started planning for a baby.  Rosie said; “She’s trying to get pregnant.”

A source close to O’Donnell spoke to US Weekly about Rosie and Michelle’s plans to have a baby and said that they are really excited to add to their family.  They said; “Michelle is seeing a fertility doctor. She is really excited and they cannot wait to add to their family. Rosie goes to all of her doctors’ appointments with her and is really supportive. She isn’t pregnant yet but they hope as soon as possible she will be.”

O’Donnell announced her engagement during a commercial break while filming her television show in December of 2011.  Rosie said that she knew that Michelle was ‘the one’ about a week after they met at Starbucks and that Michelle is “literally perfection”.

The couple is hoping to exchange their wedding vows on Long Island where Rosie grew up and wants to keep the ceremony small and intimate.   O’Donnell plans to involve her four children, Blake, Parker, Chelsea and Vivienne, in the wedding and wants the ceremony to be traditional.  A source said; “She is thinking of having her brother walk her down the aisle. She wants a proper, traditional wedding this time around.  Michelle will say vows to the kids as well as to Rosie.”

‘The Rosie Show’ airs on Thursdays on the Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN).
