‘Beauty and the Beast’ season 2, episode 15 preview: Vincent and Sam square off

The latest -Is Sam a capable villain on “Beauty and the Beast,” or is he just a guy setting up for a more evil guy to come in and inflict more damage a little bit later on down the road? Both are interesting options, but in the latest sneak peek from Monday night’s new episode, he sets things up so that it looks as though he is someone who is more than just a pawn in a larger plan.

While Sam may not be a beast or someone with any sort of crazy abilities, what this preview does for us is show off that this guy is someone more than capable of doing some pretty bad stuff through the sheer power of manipulation. He basically within the span of a few short minutes convinces Jay Ryan’s character that he can cause a wide array of problems for him if his case ever goes to trial, especially since he would do just about everything in his power to ensure that he had to sit there and actually tell a judge and a jury who he really is.

Are these mostly just threats? Sure, since Sam would need proof of everything, since the last thing we imagine a judge believing is a guy accused of something talking on a subject that seems like fiction. The more interesting part of Sam’s emotional manipulation here is him playing the Tori card, and telling Vincent that he is the reason that she died. That is what may be the more effective tool for causing emotional pain at the end of the day.
