‘How I Met Your Mother’ season 9, episode 19 preview: ‘Vesuvius,’ Ted, and ‘The Wedding Bride’

“How I Met Your Mother” is nearing the end, and with every episode that passes, we imagine that we are going to get more and more emotional in the process.

So what are we going to be seeing on the next new episode entitled “Vesuvius”? Think along the lines of something that will make you nostalgic for some of the show’s earlier days: References galore for “The Wedding Bride.” This is that movie that was a part of Ted’s history with Stella, which he banned out of rage for having himself publicly shamed in such a matter by Stella’s other man.

Well, this will be a chance to finally tie together that loose end … and also contain some other good stuff. Just take a look at the full synopsis via CBS below if you want to find out a little bit more about it now:

“On the morning of the wedding, Lily and Robin have a fight and Barney freaks out about which suit to wear. Meanwhile, the gang watches a movie Ted has forbidden them to see.”

Luckily, it appears based on tonight’s episode that Barney is not going to be so hung over for the big event now. That has to be something worth celebrating, right? As for the Lily and Robin fight, let’s just hope that this is going to be a one-episode story that will have a resolution before the end credits. There are only five episodes after this one.
