Kim Kardashian’s marriage was not a ‘business decision’

She married for love

Mrs Carter: If it was a business decision it was a terrible one.

Numerous media outlets that covered Kim Kardashian’s marriage to Kris Humphries have made claims that the reality star profited off of her wedding, but some publications went as far as to say that the whole marriage was a sham and that it was a planned business decision by the Kardashian family.

There have been reports surfacing over the past few months that Kim’s wedding the photos, interviews and the television events were all part of an elaborate business decision by the Kardashian family, but now Kim is speaking out about the rumors and saying that the marriage was not a business decision and if it was she would have stayed married a lot longer than 72 days.  She said;

“If you really think about it, if [the marriage] was a business decision, and I really made all that money that everyone was claiming that we made off this wedding, and if the wedding was fake and just for TV ? I’m a smart business woman. I would have stayed married longer.  This was a bad business decision. If you really think about it, it doesn’t make sense.”

Kim revealed to Kelly Ripa on Monday morning while co-hosting ‘Live! With Kelly’ that she has been splitting her time between her mom’s home and her sister Kourtney’s place as she tries to get her life back on track.  She said;

“I really did some soul-searching, and I needed that.  I needed to just be with the family. It’s been a hard couple of months.  I really didn’t think that following my heart would create this much backlash.”

Fans of Kim Kardashian became so invested in her romance with Kris and her fairytale wedding that like Kim, it was a bitter pill to swallow when it all fell apart.  The reality star may not have realized just how involved her fans were in her life and may have felt a little cheated after it fell apart so quickly.
