Mrs. Carter: Sean and Catherine have already gotten married, and now, she’s ready to change her name. (Does anyone really do that anymore?)
In what is the next move for the couple from “The Bachelor,” Catherine Giudici is making it clear that she is ready to become Catherine Lowe full-time and not just on her Twitter account. While it’s nice that she changed her name on Twitter the moment that she married her prince charming, Twitter is not exactly binding like filing out mountains of paper work and then standing in numerous lineups at government offices to get all new ID. Oh the joys of changing your last name… what a headache.
Catherine made her intentions clear in a recent post on the social-media site, and it certainly appears that she is ready to make the change sooner rather than later:
“Got the paperwork to legally change my last name. Let’s take a minute to remember Giudici…(insert montage of happy Giudici times).”
Catherine and Sean’s relationship has managed to find a way to continue blossoming ever since they came off the show, and now they have made it to the part that almost any couple from “The Bachelor” should celebrate: Normalcy. The two can settle in, and start to enjoy the day-to-day grind of life with each other. Sure, they’ll always be celebrities (well… reality stars) to a certain group of people, but over time their fame will fade and they will be able to slip into a normal life, which is good since they don’t really give off that “we wanna stretch out our 15 minutes of fame” vibe.
Do we still think that we will see them on TV again? We certainly feel like it’ll happen again come the next season of “The Bachelor,” or any other time that ABC wants to promote them. (Wouldn’t it be crazy if Catherine is on “Dancing with the Stars”?)
