ABC’s ‘Revenge’ season 3 spoilers: What’s wrong with Patrick and Victoria?

The return of “Revenge” is going to be potentially quite the sad one for Madeleine Stowe’s character of Victoria … and we’ve got the latest bit of photo evidence to back that up..

In this new image, you can see Victoria alongside Patrick, and the one thing that is pretty clear here is that neither party is in the best situation. Victoria in particular looks distraught, and there may be a reason why: We know already that the show has cast the role of Patrick’s father, and his arrival into the world of the Hamptons could spell chaos for her of the worst kind. The life that she so desperately tried to escape from for so many years could come roaring back.

As for the state of that Patrick – Victoria relationship right now, we also know that this is not particularly strong thanks mostly to the two having a fallout earlier this season. He has started to realize now just what sort of person she truly is, and that it would suit him to try to get away. We do at least take a certain bit of pleasure in knowing that Justin Hartley is not going anywhere in the near future; he has been a fun addition to the cast, and we would not be surprised at all to see him end up getting a promotion for the fourth season.
