Mrs. Carter: Obviously, Sean and Catherine Lowe are not exactly shy when it comes to talking about life as a married couple. TMI people!
Prior to the couple embarking on their honeymoon to Bora Bora (otherwise known as Honeymoon Land in our eyes), a good percentage of their “Bachelor” wedding special was spent with them talking time and time again about how they were waiting until marriage in order to pay “consummation station” a visit. This actually became the focus of their journey almost more then the actual wedding as they made sure everyone knew that they were waiting for marriage.
Of course, this led to the two parties getting asked all sorts of questions about their physical relationship during the honeymoon. Awkward? Probably, but Sean was still game enough to tell Us Weekly the following about what was going on behind closed doors:
“[It was] fantastic! I think we both performed extremely well. There was a parade that went through the room, and fireworks! … [Waiting] has been a great testament for both of us…. We don’t regret anything.”
This magazine also featured a rather hefty photo shoot showing the couple celebrating the honeymoon (or at least the parts of it that they could show in a magazine), and we know there are already plenty of people out there wondering why they did this. This was what they felt was the right move for them as a couple and it was a way for them to share something personal (too personal?) with their fans. We are all about celebrities being open about their personal lives, but is this something that needed to be public knowledge or something that should be kept between a couple? Also by sharing these kinds of stories it creates another generous sum of money that they can use to plan out their future together. Both parties seem to be pretty smart in that they realize that their fame is not going to last forever, and their “Bachelor” cash can be used to set up a nice pool of money for them to rely on in the future. (They also got a free wedding courtesy of ABC, and made some cash from that, as well.)
“The Bachelor” is airing right now with Juan Pablo Galavis (who might be one of the worst bachelor’s in the history of the show), and you can click here if you do want to read some more news and updates on that.
