I thought there was foreshadowing…….the long look as she said good bye…..I don’t know it just gave me cause that something wasn’t right……..

I liked the fact that it ‘came out of nowhere’. It meant we got the exact reaction that Jenny did – shock and disbelief. How could this have happened when she’d just seen him and he was doing ok? Neither Jenny nor us as an audience were prepared for him to die and it made the fact all the more shocking and heartwrenching.

I was moved to tears at many points, I could have done without the gruesome bit of Alec’s fall but otherwise, he was okay, what could go wrong? I think my heart broke for Jenny, first her unrequited love, then Jimmy and now Alec, seemingly perfect for her. How can the series continue now? I feel so conflicted, how could the writes do this to us?! Alec always so perfect and happy to put up with Jenny’s annoying habits. Devastated is an understatement! AF Ireland, officially traumatised for the week!
