‘NCIS’ season 11 spoilers: Moving beyond the Parsa storyline
For anyone who has followed along the story of “NCIS” season 11 as of late, you know that the primary plot in 2014 has been Parsa, Parsa, and then even more Parsa. The famed terrorist has really dominated things from start to finish, and the major question that it is easy to have right now is just when that is going to end.
In case you haven’t heard yet, we have an answer to that: The Parsa story will come to a close (at least for now) on Tuesday night, and you can watch a preview for that here. Moving beyond that, there will be an episode entitled “Bulletproof” that airs on Tuesday, February 18. The only reason that we can think of a week off in the February sweeps for the show is the Olympics. Many networks are wary of the competition, and they don’t want to run against some of the biggest sports in Sochi.
As for some more things that you can expect to see coming up, just be sure to check out the synopsis for “Bulletproof” coming up:
“After uncovering faulty bulletproof vests in a truck filled with stolen U.S.M.C. merchandise, the NCIS team attempts to locate both the source and any vests that had been shipped to military personnel overseas.”
We cannot really ever sit here and say that this is the most revealing storyline of all time, or also the most interesting, given that some other shows have touched on similar things. The one thing that is worth noting here is that Margo Harshman is listed as appearing as Delilah in this episode, which at least means that her recovery has lasted this long.

Can’t expect this Parsa storyline to be over. Starting after episode 2 in season 11 there was no real reason for Parsa’s actions, besides as soon as this is over maybe Bishop will be treated as the probie she is. Bishop makes everyone look stupid especially Tony! Both Kate and Ziva had to fit into the team, the new agent does what she wants and Gibbs approves!

Makes me wonder why MW sticks a round, but he must be happy the way things are for his character Tony, put it this way it’s easy money for him get paid all that money with out having to do any real acting.

I do agree with you Derek – maybe MW is happy with his ‘lighter’ role because the writing is just simply making Bishop look stupid – he is well away from that wreck !

I often wonder why MW sticks around too. I guess he’s a loyal person and the money is great, but his character is always the one sacrificed when they decide to focus on and flatter another character – generally Gibbs or – Ziva, in the past, and now Ellie. I don’t get the feeling that MW has any problem at all when he gets to do “real acting”. It’s just that those types of moments always go to MH now. To me, it’s as if they don’t want to give MW anything that might flatter the character. He simply can’t be written as EVER outshining GIbbs. In the early seasons we got to see uber competent Tony and tptb didn’t seem to see it as a threat to Gibbs, but now it’s quite obvious from the writing that Tony may not in any way shape or form, be seen as anything but a way to allow Gibbs to shine by comparison. Now with Ellie as Gibbs go to agent, I fear Tony’s script will consist of the character clicking the clicker, making the movie reference, following two steps behind Gibbs, and standing by uselessly as GIbbs and/or Ellie solve the case.

I don’t think that Parsa has been the big storyline. I think the constant homage to Ziva in the first few episodes, and then Ellie Bishop so quickly replacing Tony as the smartest agent and Gibbs new go to agent is. Sadly it seems they are creating another mary sue who will continue to dominate all others in crime solving, rendering Tony, once again, irrelevant as an agent. I miss the three man team we had in a couple of episodes because everyone got to shine and there was a team dynamic for the first time in years. But now it has turned from the Gibbs/Ziva hour into the Gibbs/Bishop hour. I guess GG and co just don’t want to change up the formula. Too bad for Tony fans.

I am with you on this. I like Ellie/Emily but I LOVE Tony/Michael and I want to see Gibbs and Tony be the heroes. We need more of the smart, brave,always have your back TONY!

It used to be the Team hour, now it is Gibbs/Bishop and there is no team. I just want Tony and McGee back.

That was one of the things people hated about the character Ziva, some thought she was pushing the rest of the team out, now same thing happening again with Bishop, their is a lot of discord with Bishop as their was with Ziva, but I know which one I would rather watch and it’s not Bishop.
