On Monday, the final installment of the “Harry Potter” franchise had its second premiere in under a week — this time in New York. All of the major stars were in attendance, and you can check out a video of some of the highlights below courtesy of E! News.
Matthew Lewis (Neville Longbottom) and Rupert Grint (Ron Weasley) were two of the earlier arrivals on the red carpet, and Lewis specifically had some fun things to say about feeling like “James Bond” after doing some of the stunts this time around. Grint then joked about the weather in New York being so warm, and also said that he is going to miss “getting screamed at” as he has been over the past few years at various premieres.
“Potter” is slated to hit theaters on Friday, and early expectations have it being one of the biggest films of the year thus far — to this point, thousands of showings across the country have already sold out.
