Sure, “Revenge” may currently still be well into the process of airing its third season, but who isn’t ready now to get a little bit of scoop early on what lies ahead? It’s for that reason exactly that we are pleased to announce that Karine Vanasse, who you may otherwise remember for her role as Margaux on the ABC series, has been promoted to a series regular for the upcoming fourth season in the fall.
This news was reported by Deadline, but there is a strange little wrinkle that you have to remember when you read it: “Revenge” has not actually been renewed for a fourth season yet. At this point, all this can be classified as is a move that gets the show closer to doing what they need to at the end of the day. Vanasse has been a part of the show since the start of this year, and has provided some different benefits to the series in her role.
Margaux came on the scene looking like a woman from Daniel’s past who seemed intent on getting back with Daniel, but that role has changed significantly since that time. She is now in a relationship with Jack, and she is a valuable resource on the Graysons for him, and in turn could be helpful for Emily. While she does have her own publication to run, she has already come across as someone who is fluid enough to handle the multiple responsibilities that come with being a boss, a writer, and also a friend.
As a fan of “Pan Am” for the brief time it was on, we celebrate any opportunity that one of its former stars has. Therefore, we’re cheering for Karine!
