This episode blew my head off. Here is the reason why. Remember the montage at the end? Who was that cafeteria worker that got a 3 second close up her face? I nearly stroked out when I realized it was Sofie Grabol. the lead actress from the original Danish version of “The Killing”. I can not find any confirmation of this. Can someone out in the Internets please verify this?

I thought this episode was very good. The whole tone of the episode was so dark but it still managed to be hilarious and ridiculous. The episode was just so intriguing as well as funny.

In reply to sunflower67. I really liked this episode. Some of the gang may not have been the main focus in this particular episode, but it was still great. It looks like Pierce's death will be explained in more detail the next episode or the one after.

This was one of the best episodes of community that I have seen in a long time. Like most of their episodes, I enjoy the ones with any type of theme: Law&Order, paintball, etc. I’m glad Dan Harmon is back- he is a necessity. Last season was strange- Chang’s “chang-nesia”? Things got a little off-track from a show that is already considered a “black sheep” type sitcom. All said, I loved the episode, I’m thrilled they made it to another season (although, they really shouldn’t have) and I can’t wait for what comes next!

I couldn’t disagree more. Most of the gang–Britta, Abed, and Shirley were barely in this episode. Pierce’s death (without explanation) is just randomly thrown in as a non-sequitur. The writing and the energy are off. I love Community, but I thought this episode was spectacularly bad.
