New Adam Lambert song title revealed in interview

What happened?

Details are finally starting to creep out about Adam Lambert’s sophomore release “Trespassing” — and this time, it’s coming from a new interview the singer gave to Rolling Stone.

While it’s been a given for quite some time that “Outlaws of Love” would be featured on the disc in some form, it is still nice to see this confirmed. We also now know that the cut with Nile Rodgers is entitled “Shady,” which Adam personally describes as “Nine Inch Nails meets ‘Saturday Night Fever.'”

The album is set to contain a number of dance-centric tracks, though there is still a personal element attached to nearly every song. If all of this information does not make you excited, we have to say that the closing line of the RS piece will:

“No major label would’ve signed a gay 27-year-old white theater dude without ‘Idol.’┬áNow it’s about how I use the platform. Whoever you are, I hope you can find yourself in these songs. If that happens, I’ve won.”

“Trespassing” should hit stores on early 2012 — as soon as we have more news on lead single “Better Than I Know Myself,” we’ll pass it on your way.
