Kim and Kourtney Kardashian’s reality show ‘Kourtney and Kim Take New York’ is getting ready for its big premiere on Sunday, so the network has just released an extended promo for the show, giving fans a taste of all the drama that will be coming up on the season.
The promo certainly doesn’t hold back when it comes to throwing Kris Humphries under the bus, (which isn’t really much of a surprise to be honest), and makes Kim look like the sole victim in the collapse of her marriage. We see clips of Kris partying and drinking without Kim while his wife is at home in tears.
There is one clip of the promo that media outlets are heavily focusing on and that’s a conversation between Kris and Kim where the couple talks about where they plan to live in the future. Kim has said in the past that she was planning on moving to Minnesota to be with Kris, but when Kris brings it up on the show, Kim balks asking “what about my career”? Humphries tells his the wife “no one will probably care about you” in a few years. Instead of thinking about the possibility that Kris may be right, Kim instead thinks that the relationship isn’t working. A tearful Kim opens up to Kourtney about her marriage to Kris, saying;
“He fell in love with me and I fell in love with him, and now my feelings have changed… I failed at this.”
What is kind of interesting about the whole ‘moving’ conversation is that Kris is currently part of the NBA lockout, but once the lockout is over Kris is a free agent and could sign with anyone forcing him to move to whatever team he signs with (likely the Nets), so while Kim’s career is obviously important to her, how was Kris going to continue playing ball once the lockout is over if she refused to re-locate?
