Tuesday night finally marked the end of “Dancing with the Stars,” and with that we had a winner. So who ended up grabbing the prestigious (and rather shiny) Mirrorball Trophy? Don’t read on if you want to avoid potential spoilers.
As many of us expected, Ricki Lake (who never had the same sort of fanbase as her two other finalists) ended up being the person to leave the ballroom in third place. She seemed more than satisfied with her performance, though, and at times even seemed to expect the fact that she was going to be leaving the competition against two people with enormous fan followings.
After that, it really became an interesting debate — would people pick the inspirational army Veteran, or the man with the Kardashian army behind him? In the end, J.R. did end up being declared the champion — and with that, the trophy is his! It’s a much-deserved honor for a man who was actually an unknown to many before this show even started.
